Come down to The Yosemite Gateway Restaurant in Oakhurst and bid on your favorite Firefighters in this 1st annual event where The Sierras Bravest will be up for bid! Winning bids will have dinner at a later date with their Firefighter while supporting a worthy non-profit that is dedicated to helping the Wildland Fire Community- The Wildland Firefighter Foundation https://wffoundation.org/
The winner of the Live Auctions will receive a $50 Gift Certificate from a local Resturant to use on your date, to be set at a later date by you and your firefighter. You will then exchange phone numbers to work out scheduling.

JOSE OLIVIA A 3 year WFF originally from LA. Jose is down to earth, likes hanging out at the beach, going to the movies, but is pretty much up for anything. He is into hiking (as any WFF should be) and running, because he likes to stay fit. Jose is pretty open minded about music but loves hip hop and is a metal head at heart. He likes all types of food. Jose also loves working on cars, especially classic ones. JOSH WILLIS
Loves puppies, pizza, naps, and hikes. He is just starting his Firefighting Career here in the Sierra. Josh is originally form Long Beach Ca. NATASHA FOUTS NOBLE
Natasha loves hiking, swimming and spending time with friends and family. She previously worked four years and as a seasonal firefighter with CalFire and is entering her fourth season as a CalFire Defensible Space Inspector. Natasha works as a substitute teacher in her off season. She has lived most her life in the Coarsegold area. MATTHEW THIEL
Matt is entering his third year as a Wildland / All Risk Firefighter for the state, He has a heart for people and finds this job perfect for fulfilling that caring nature he has. He always tries to take that extra step to reassure the people he is helping. When Matt is not rolling in the engine on duty you can find him out on the lake bass fishing or on the golf course. He is also the father of a future firefighter, five your old Caleb. Matt is happy to help out such a good organization. |
MORGAN KEMPLE
Morgan is part owner in a Dozer and water tender company. Although she doesn’t go out on the lines she is an asset to the company because of her extensive business experience. She is more than just a pretty face, since she doesn’t mind getting dirty. Morgan’s favorite things to do when she has downtime is to go wheeling, camping and fishing. She has close ties to the WFF and holds the foundation close to her heart. TRAVIS DEAN
Travis is entering his third year as a wildland firefighter. He feels fortunate to both live and serve the community in the Sierra National Forest. Travis enjoys what he does and believes if you truly love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life. Along with looking forward to the 2018 season, Trav is also looking forward being auctioned off for a good cause. You're date awaits! TOM WHEELER
Tom has been a resident of Eastern Madera County for five decades, having moved to the area as a teenager in 1958. His family settled in North Fork a year later. Tom is a proud father of three and grandfather of two. For 30 years, he managed the 4,500-acre Frank Wyle’s Circle W. Ranch. Tom won the Champion Logger title five times. Currently serving our Eastern Madera County as Supervisor. Tom may not be a WFF but is grateful and supportive of the Wildland Fire community. The highest bidder will also receive a 4 to 6 person elk dinner at their home cooked by Tom. Minimum bid $350. |
